When you apply for a position, we collect your name, email address, phone number, selected position, resume, and any additional information you choose to provide. We also process limited technical information needed to operate and protect the forms, such as a short-lived session identifier and a protected version of your IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
How we use information
We use contact information to respond to inquiries and discuss potential projects. We use application information to review qualifications and communicate with applicants about employment opportunities. We also use information to maintain business records and protect the website and its forms from spam or misuse.
How information is shared
Contact-form messages are delivered to Public Safety Direct’s sales team, and career applications are delivered to the team responsible for hiring, through our Microsoft 365 email service. Our website is hosted on Synology infrastructure. We do not sell or rent information submitted through these forms.
Our contact page includes a Google Maps embed. If you use that map, Google may collect information under its own privacy practices. Please review Google’s privacy information before using that service if you have questions.
Retention and security
We keep inquiry and application information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, review applications, maintain business records, resolve issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information; however, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may ask questions about, request access to, or request correction or deletion of your contact-form information by emailing Sales@publicsafetydirect.com. For career application information, email admin@publicsafetydirect.com. We may need to verify your request and may retain information when required or permitted by law.
Children and sensitive information
This website is not directed to children under 13. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card details, medical information, law-enforcement-sensitive information, or other confidential information through our forms or in a resume.
